The CW Announces Midseason Changes

New Limited Series 'Containment,' Plus the Returns of 'Reign' and 'Beauty and the Beast' Get Start Dates

The CW has unveiled its midseason schedule, which will include new limited series “Containment,” the return of ‘Reign,” the summer debut of the final season of “Beauty and the Beast,” and the season (or series) finale dates for scripted hours ‘iZombie” and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.”

“Containment,” based the Belgian series “Cordon,” launches on Tuesday, April 19 at 9 p.m. The logline:
When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure.

One week later, ‘iZombie” concludes season two with back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, April 12 from 8-10 p.m. “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” closes season one Monday, April 18 at 8 p.m. ET. “Reign” steps in for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” effective on Monday, April 25. And “Beauty and the Beast” returns on Thursday, June 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
