‘The Office’ Revival in the Works on NBC

Plans Comes on the Heels of the Success of the 'Will & Grace' Reboot

Following the successful return of “Will & Grace,” NBC is eyeing a revival of 2015-13 sitcom “The Office.” Steve Carell, who played Michael Scott (and who exited the original series in season seven) will not be returning and the potential new series will feature a mix of new and old cast members.

The original series also featured Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, B.J. Novak, Mindy Kaling, Ellie Kemper and Craig Robinson among many others, and was developed by Greg Daniels. It was nominated for 42 Emmy Awards and won five.
