‘Orphan Black’ Renewed for Final Fifth Season

BBC American Picks-Up 10 Additional Episodes

BBC America has greenlit sci-fi drama “Orphan Black” for a fifth – and final – season in 2017. Ten new episodes have been ordered.

Debuting on March 30, 2013, “Orphan Black” features Tatiana Maslany as Sarah Mannin, a con artist who assumes a dead woman’s identity and occupation (police detective) without realizing she is a clone and has many “sister” clone spread throughout North America and Europe. She also does not realize that someone is trying to kill she and her clones.

The cast of “Orphan Black” also includes Ari Millen, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Skyler Wexler, Kevin Hanchard, Evelyne Brochu, Kristian Bruun and Josh Vokey.
