Penn State Football Radio Announcer’s ‘Electrified’ Call of Game-Winning Moment

Legendary play-by-play radio announcer Steve Jones calls what would turn out to be this game-winning moment: Penn State safety Marcus Allen blocked an Ohio State field goal, with cornerback Grant Haley scooping it up and returning it for a 60-yard touchdown.

Entering the game, the Penn State Nittany Lions were an 18-point underdog versus the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes. Penn State’s 24-21 victory achieved several milestones for the university:
