Ratings Breakdown:
NBC scored a clean Monday overnight household sweep with the pairing of part one of the fall season finale of “The Voice” (6.9 rating/11 share from 8-10 p.m.) and the debut of “Ellen’s Game of Games,” hosted by Ellen DeGeneres (#1: 4.5/ 8 at 10 p.m.). Comparably, that 4.5 overnight household rating for “Ellen’s Game of Games” is a season high for NBC in the Monday 10 p.m. hour.

In season-finale news was ABC holiday reality/competition “The Great Light Fight” at a typical 2.7/ 4 from 8-10 p.m. That led into 10 p.m. special “The Year in Memoriam” at a third-place 3.4/ 6, which trailed competing “Scorpion” on CBS (#2: 3.6/ 6) by six percent.

Earlier in the evening on CBS was the 8-10 p.m. combination of “Kevin Can Wait” (4.2/ 7), “Man With a Plan” (3.6/ 6), “Superior Donuts” (3.3/ 5) and “9JKL” (2.9/ 5), which were on par with typical season levels. Needless to say, CBS will have to address this modest sitcom block next season.

Elsewhere, holiday specials “Popstar’s Best of 2017” (#5: 0.5/ 1) and “The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honors 2017” (#5: 0.3/ 0) on The CW were off the overnight charts. And Fox featured encore telecasts of dramas “Lucifer” (#4: 1.5/ 2 at 8 p.m.) and “The Gifted” (#4: 1.1/ 2 at 9 p.m.).
