    • Can’t wait for the home opener versus the Cards next Sunday. We haven’t beaten them in so long now is the time. OSU vs. IND was very good!

      • Same here would like to beat the Cards week 1 the last time the Lions beat the Cards was in 2004. So glad that Matt Stafford will be a Lion for another 6 years until 2022 since the deal had to get done will be a discount in the few years once the next QB gets to be the highest paid.

        • I’m watching Tampa Bay @ Miami on Sunday, weather permitting. It could be moved to a different day or location or both depending on Hurricane Irma.

        • Yeah man we got to end that streak against the Cards especially if we’re going to be an even better team this year as some folks expect us to be it’s not going to be good losing this game with the Giants next Monday night and Falcons coming in the week after that. I want them to win this game for Stafford too because he’s never beat them before either and like I’m also glad that he will be a Lion for the next 6 years as that’s a huge monkey off our back as it would’ve been huge if we would’ve lost him. That’s the thing about Stafford’s deal it was a bit of a discount for us as it could’ve been higher than it was and I heard the salary cap is going up so towards the end of the contract it’s not even going to look that expensive compared to what the other QBs are going to be getting in the early 2020s.
