‘Right This Minute’ Renewed Through 2016

The Viral Videos Show Will Now Be Produced by Disney-ABC

Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution will distribute viral videos show “Right This Minute” for fall 2016 in national syndication. Eight ABC Owned Stations (WABC/New York, KABC/Los Angeles, WLS-TV/Chicago, WPVI/Philadelphia, KGO/San Francisco, KTRK/Houston, WTVD/Raleigh-Durham, and KFSN/Fresno) will air the series in place of failed talker “FABLife.”

Originally, “Right This Minute” aired only on stations owned by originating producers Cox Media Group, Raycom Media and the E. W. Scripps Company. In 2013, Magic Dust Television and Raycom-Scripps-Cox partnered with MGM Television to distribute the program to stations owned by other broadcasting companies. In April 2014, Fox Television Stations picked up “Right This Minute” for broadcast on Fox’s owned-and-operated stations in 10 markets.

Combined with additional clearances, “Right This Minute” will head into 2016-17 with clearances in over 60 percent of the country.
