‘Sharknado: The 4th Awakens’ to Premiere on Syfy in July

Tara Reid to Return After Fan Vote to Keep Her Character Alive

The fourth film in the cheesy “Sharknado” franchise on Syfy will be called “Sharknado: The 4th Awakens,” and it will debut on Sunday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET. The storyline picks up five years after the events of “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!,” as Fin (Ian Ziering), his family, and the world face the next attack after living blissfully sharknado-free in the intervening years. The cast will include David Hasselhoff, Ryan Newman, Gary Busey, Tommy Davidson, Imani Hakim, Cody Linley, Masiela Lusha and Cheryl Tiegs and Tara Reid, who the fans voted to keep alive. And, of course, you can expect plenty of cameos.

‘Sharknado: The 4th Awakens’ is a production of The Asylum. Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct an original screenplay written by Thunder Levin.
