Showtime Renews ‘Ray Donovan’ for Season Six

Twelve New Episodes Ordered

Showtime has greenlit scripted drama “Ray Donovan” starring Liev Schreiber and Oscar einner Jon Voight, for a sixth season, with an order for 12 new episodes. The setting for the new season will relocate from Los Angeles to New York when production begins in early 2018.

“‘Ray Donovan’ broke new ground this season with its deeply emotional and innovative approach to Abby’s passing, without sacrificing any of the intensity that has been its trademark,” said Showtime President of Programming Gary Levine. “We so appreciate that David Hollander is never satisfied with the status quo, and his creative plan for moving the show to New York reflects his relentless ambition for this series.”

The season finale for the current season of “Ray Donovan” airs on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
