Aaron Judge Puts on Spectacular Display in MLB Home Run Derby Championship

In a memorable 2017 Major League Baseball Home Run Derby from Miami, Fla. on July 10 that aired on ESPN and ESPN2, New York Yankees outfielder and instant rookie sensation Aaron Judge wowed the crowd as he slugged many exhilarating home runs en route to winning the All-Star event. Several of his hit balls traveled at least a mammoth 500 feet. Through three rounds of play, Judge defeated formidable competition in Miami Marlins’ Justin Bour, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Cody Bellinger and Minnesota Twins’ Miguel Sanó.

Judge becomes the first rookie to ever win MLB’s Home Run Derby. In 2012, he had also won the College Home Run Derby as a student at Fresno State.
