Sunday Final Nationals: Respectable Results for ‘The Passion Live’ on Fox

With the second round game of the NCAA Div. I Men’s Basketball Tournament between Oklahoma and Virginia Commonwealth (VCU) airing about a half hour into prime time, CBS was Sunday night’s most-watched network with an average of 9.1 million viewers.

The Walking Dead” put AMC on top again on Sunday night in all key demos (2.5 adults 18-49 rating, 2.0 adults 18-34 rating, 2.8 adults 25-54 rating).

Fox was in the competitive mix with its 2-hour spiritual musical presentation “The Passion” which featured Tyler Perry, Trisha Yearwood, Seal and Chris Daughtry. It ranked as the fifth most-watched show on TV overall in prime time (from 7:35-11 p.m.) among adults 18-49 (2.063 million).
