Sunday Final Ratings: Post-Super Bowl Episode of ‘This Is Us’ is NBC’s Most-Watched Scripted Telecast in Nearly 14 Years

As Marc Berman indicated in the Feb. 6 edition of The Programming Insider Newsletter, NBC’s “This Is Us” scored a series-high 26.97 million viewers in the post-Super Bowl time period from 10:45-11:49 p.m., ET, which makes this the most-watched Super Bowl lead-out telecast in six years. Comparably, this is an increase of 9.4 million viewers versus the year-ago post-Super Bowl debut of Fox drama “24: Legacy” (17.58 million on Feb. 5, 2017 from 11 p.m.-12:01 a.m.)

Additionally, Sunday’s post-Super Bowl telecast of “This Is Us” is now NBC’s most-watched scripted show in more than 13 years (since “ER” the night of the “Friends” finale on May 6, 2004). It also ranks as the most-watched drama on any network in 10 years (since the Feb. 3, 2008 post-Super Bowl episode of “House”).
