‘Superstore’ on NBC Snags Second Season Renewal

Freshman Sitcom Joins the Seven Already Picked-Up NBC Dramas

On the heels of the first season finale, NBC has announced that “Superstore” has been picked-up for a second season. “Superstore” is the first comedy this season on NBC to be renewed for 2016-17, and it joins already confirmed-to-return dramas “Blindspot,” “The Blacklist,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago PD,” “Chicago Med,” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Shades of Blue.” The number of new episodes of “Superstore” is not confirmed.
