Syfy Renews ‘The Magicians’ for Season Three

Thirteen New Episodes Ordered

Syfy has greenlit fantasy drama “The Magicians” for a third season, with an order for 13 additional episodes.

Based on Lev Grossman’s fantasy trilogy and debuting on Dec. 16, 2015, “The Magicians” follows Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph) and his friends at Brakebills, a magical university in upstate New York that is real and poses a danger to humanity. The renewal order comes shortly after the also third season pick-up for “The Expanse.”

    Yes indeed..: disastrous.

    But Siffy loves shows that nobody watches.

    So sad to see all that money wasted on shows nobody cares about (except Steven of course! 😉 ).
