Syfy Renews ‘Z Nation’ for Season Four

Thirteen New Episodes on Tap for 2017

Syfy has greenlit drama “Z Nation” for a fourth season, with an order for 13 new episodes for 2017. The pick-up comes before the season three final on December 16.

Debuting on Sept. 12, 2014, “Z Nation,” starring Russell Hidgkinson, Nat Zang and Kellita Smith, takes place three years after a zombie virus has taken over the entirety of the United States, as a group of heroes try to transport the only known survivor of the plague across the country from New York to California, where the only virus lab still standing waits to receive his blood. The renewal will take the total episode order of “Z Nation” to 56.

  1. Siffy loves its flops.

It’s amazing how much money they’ve spent making further seasons of shows nobody watches (notice how they didn’t even bother to mention its ratings?)
