TBS Renews ‘The Detour’ for Season Two

Series Pick-Up Comes Before the Sitcom Has Even Debuted

Optimistic TBS has picked-up comedy “The Detour” for a second season before officially launching on Monday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET. Thirteen new episodes have been ordered in addition to the 10 for season one.

From former “Daily Show” correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones, who will also star, “The Detour” follows a family on their vacation road trip. It also features Natalie Zea, Ashley Gerasimovich and Liam Carroll.
