‘The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ to Conclude on Netflix

Series in Talks to Conclude in a Movie Format

Netflix has announced that sitcom “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” starring Ellie Kemper, will conclude with its upcoming fourth season. This final season of  will launch in two parts. The first, consisting of six episodes, will be available May 30, with the remaining seven episodes premiering at a later date.  

Netflix and producer Universal Television are reportedly in talks to officially conclude with an original movie, with co-creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock penning the screenplay.

Streamed on Netflix since March 6, 2015, “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” was originally planned as a 13-episode first season on NBC. But Netflix stepped in with an initial two season order.
