“Criminal Minds” star Thomas Gibson will be suspended from at least one – and likely two – episodes of the long-running CBS crime solver after a physical altercation with a writer-producer on the set. Gibson reportedly kicked co-executive producer Virgil Williams after a disagreement. Years ago, Gibson allegedly pushed assistant director Ian Woolf and had to attend anger management classes.

“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred,” Gibson, 54, said in a statement. “We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and we always will.”

“Criminal Minds” will return for Season 12 on CBS on Wednesday, September 28.

  1. He’s the least desirable actor on the show, i.e., I continue to watch it because of every other actor. You can tell…for years…the guy has anger issues.

  2. Really? You can tell that a Character on a TV show (i.e. an ACTOR) has Anger issues? ~ He just needs to go have a drink (or 6) with Charlie Sheen! ~ I want to know Where he kicked him. ~ And who’s to say the Co-E.P. wasn’t deserving of a kick in the pants? ~ If Dharma (Jenna Elfman) corroborates, then we have some Perspective (which is Everything but most always Missing!)

  3. Someone who worked on Dharma & Greg told me years ago Thomas Gibson was horrible to work with. And now he has been officially fired.
