Thursday Final Nationals: ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ on ABC Hits Nine-Month Viewer High with 300th Episode

Although it ranked behind all but one of CBS’ simulcasts, NBC’s season premiere of NFL Network’s “Thursday Night Football” — featuring the Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals — still far outpaced its broadcast competition and led NBC to win Thursday prime time overall.

Top markets for Seahawks-Cardinals on NBC / NFLN: Seattle 38.9/61; Phoenix 21.6/37; New Orleans 15.8/23; Richmond 14.8/24; Portland 13.6/25; Albuquerque 12.1/20; Milwaukee 11.9/19; Minneapolis 11.4/20; Denver 11.1/20; and Buffalo 10.9/17.

Young Sheldon” re-confirmed its freshman hit status for CBS, — TV’s #1 new comedy — holding (according to adults 18-49) 79 percent of its “Big Bang Theory” lead-in and maintaining 100 percent of its ratings performance from its time slot premiere last week.

The milestone 300th episode of ABC’s long-running series “Grey’s Anatomy” drew 8.13 million viewers, according to Live plus Same Day data. This is the hit medical drama’s top mark since Feb. 9 (8.46 million).
