ABC's Competing 'Bachelor in Paradise' Pales in Comparison

Ratings Breakdown:
NBC stood well above the Tuesday competition once again thanks to “America’s Got Talent” (#1: 8.3 rating/14 share from 8-10 p.m.), which bested the time period premiere of ABC’s “Bachelor in Paradise” (3.0/ 5) by a considerable 177 percent in the household overnights. Unfortunately, the Peacock dropped the ball at 10 p.m., with the time period premiere of “Hollywood Game Night” (#2: 3.1/ 5) slipping by 64 percent from the 9:30 p.m. portion of “America’s Got Talent” (8.5/14). Comparably, “Hollywood Game Night” was also 42 percent below the 5.3/10 for the season-finale of “World of Dance” in the time period one week earlier.

Also original last night was failing ABC scripted drama “Somewhere Between” at a mere 1.1/ 2 at 10 p.m.

  1. That is a higher than season average rating for HGN, though, I think? And it has to be so very cheap to produce.
