ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm – 10.3 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49): With DWTS and the return of The Good Doctor following the prior week’s preemption, ABC finished as Monday’s most watched broadcaster for the 6th time in 7 weeks (10.3 million) and also ranked #1 with Adults 18-49 for the 2nd time in 3 weeks (1.7/6) over runner-up NBC (1.6/6). For its 2nd straight telecast, ABC’s The Good Doctor was Monday’s #1 TV series in both Total Viewers (10.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9/8-tied w/The Voice), while Dancing was the night’s 2nd most watched show overall, behind only the ABC freshman drama.

Please note: ABC’s Monday lineup was preempted in Miami and Charlotte for local NFL coverage (2.5% U.S.).

Dancing with the Stars (8-10pm – 10.1 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): From 8-10pm, ABC’s semi-finals for Dancing with the Stars built week to week in Total Viewers (+9% – 10.1 million vs. 9.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+25% – 1.5/5 vs. 1.2/4) to score best since premiere numbers on both measures – since 9/18/17. Dancing won its 2-hour time period with Total Viewers and came within a best-of-season 4-tenths of The Voice in Adults 18-49.

    The Good Doctor (10-11pm – 10.5 million and 1.9/8 in AD18-49):
Building over its Dancing lead-in on each telecast since its debut at 10pm (+4%/+27%), ABC’s The Good Doctor beat its combined drama competition, towering over NBC’s Brave (5.1 million and 1.0/4) and CBS’ Scorpion (4.7 million and 0.8/3) and to rank as the top series in the hour for the 7th time in as many airings with Total Viewers (10.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.9/8).

    · Season to date through 7 complete weeks in Nielsen’s Most Current data stream (includes available TV Playback), ABC’s The Good Doctor qualifies as TV’s most watched drama (over CBS’ NCIS and NBC’s This is Us) as well as TV’s #1 10pm series in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49. The new drama is delivering triple-digit time period improvement year to year for ABC on Monday at 10pm in Total Viewers (+154%) and Adults 18-49 (+186%), marking the biggest gains for any network in any hour this season.
