  1. Perhaps NBC should try an established show OR a family female skewing drama after the Voice in the Fall. They mostly have stuck with niche shows or “high profile” shows and all but one put up serviceable numbers (The Blacklist). This is Us after the Voice on Tuesday grew out of it. Go with what works.

Scorpion is a 9PM show. I figure they will keep the two hour comedies so Scorpion should move to another night.

24:Legacy and APB are much weaker than Gotham/Lucifer. I guess FOX had a bust after the Superbowl this year.

    • I have also wondered why NBC does not go more female after The Voice. I think I remember looking at the demos and The Voice skews incredibly female.

      • Yep The Voice does skew more female. Since they seem content with having another Voice episode on Tuesday at 8PM I’d slate a female oriented family drama after it in the Fall. Of course this is under the assumption they move “This is Us” to Wed at 8PM in the Fall (which I still recommend).

It would be tougher to go family drama Monday at 10PM. I was always puzzled when NBC left Parenthood in that hour. Typically family dramas are 8PM and 9PM material. They MIGHT want to try putting one of the Chicago shows Monday at 10PM after the Voice. I think that would shore up the night for them instead of them winging and hoping something sticks in that hour year after year.

        • I had actually thought about one of the Chicago shows, as well. I think they skew female as well although not as much as Voice.

  2. All the new shows have flopped (not that it’s a surprise these days)…

Taken, like all the other remake shows is DOA in spite of its lead-in.

    When will Hollywood learn?

    Not this season. 🙁
