  1. The bloom is off Simon Cowell’s rose… so much for a ratings spike for his much ballyhoo’d stint as judge. Bachelorette did incredibly well which I’m sure hurt AGT. Interesting that ABC probably got it’s highest rating on a Tuesday in months… and it’s summer. Half hour drop for M&M is concerning. It’s more SNL than true variety show – NBC should just brand it that way.

  2. If ABC really wants to be more successful on Tuesdays during the season they could easily have The Bachelor air on Tuesdays to star the season and ditch the low-rated comedy block.

    • That would overexpose the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise plus that would leave Mondays from Jan-Mar absent for ABC. The comedies will do just enough for the network to do better than Fox and CW on Tuesdays and as a positive, they probably will have their best in-season Tuesdays since the DWTS results era.

  3. Hate to say this but you made an Error, on The CW, Containment instead of Supernatural.
Here’s the CW Numbers after Pre-emptions in Chicago.
    The Flash-Rerun 18-49 0.2/746,000
    Containment-Rerun 18-49 0.2/491,000
