  1. R.I.P. Mary Tyler Moore

In finding out this news a half-hour ago I didn’t realize she had already reached 80 years old as I thought she was still in her 70s but apparently her disease got worse the past couple of years but at least she didn’t die young so I don’t have to be too sad about her loss. I actually thought we lose her tag team partner Rhoda (Valerie Harper) before her because she had cancer so I’m grateful we still have Valerie around especially to speak on her I’m sure.

With that being sad though I still watch her reruns from time to time as people especially young people need to understand how important Mary Tyler Moore was for television or the entertainment industry as a whole. She was a walking institution and a legend who really was the centerpiece of the women movement of the 70s. I think her show is easily one of the top 5 most important shows that aired on television. So hopefully those things will be pointed out in the various shows you watch this week reporting on her death.

  2. The Wall seems to be doing very good in the ratings I think NBC will order more EP’s of The Wall.

  3. With the “This is Us” success, I wonder if the family drama is making a come back? I think NBC should move it to Wednesday at 8PM in the Fall. It would beat everything in the hour in both viewers and the demo. NBC hasn’t had THAT in that time slot in years. But I don’t know if they would leave the SVU/Chicago block there because they want to test something there unless the SVU and Chicago shows move all to 10PM blocks.

I would NOT recommend moving it to Thursday at 8PM. BBT and Greys would damage it so do not do that one.

SHIELD isn’t worthy of a renewal but ABC may give it a reduced order final season

As long as the CW shows have been off the air, it is no shock everything is returning down because many probably forgot when they even came back!
