    L+3: LAST WEEK’S “TALENT” & “WORLD OF DANCE” GENERATED THE NIGHT’S BIGGEST L+3 LIFTS IN 18-49 & TOTAL VIEWERS

    Tuesday Primetime Ratings:

    NBC wins Tuesday night, beating the ABC-CBS-Fox competition combined in 18-49 and total viewers.

    “America’s Got Talent” (2.5/11 in 18-49, 12.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
    · Is the #1 show of the night in 18-49 and total viewers.
    · Retains 96% of last week’s 2.6 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings and 93% versus last week’s 2.7 in official nationals.
    · In total viewers, grows +2% versus last week’s 12.178 million persons in these fast affils and maintains 99% of last week’s 12.528 million in official nationals.
    · If the increase holds when official-national results are in, it will be the first time in four years “Talent” has grown in both Week 2 and Week 3 versus the prior week in total viewers.
    · If the official-national result builds on last week’s audience, it will be NBC’s biggest total-viewer result in the time period in nine months (since “Talent’s” performance finale on Sept. 13, 2016, 14.0 million).
    · Dominates the time period in all key measures.
    · Retains 96% of its 18-49 rating on the same night last year in 18-49 (2.5 vs. 2.6 on June 14, 2016) and grows +8% in total viewers (12.435 million vs. 11.535 million).
    · Increases by +29% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adult 18-49 rating (from a 2.1 to a 2.7) and +2.8 million persons or +27% in total viewers (10.7 million to 13.5 million).
    · Will add significant viewership via time-shifting:
    o Last week’s “Talent” grew +25% in 18-49 (2.66 to 3.32) and more than +2.4 million viewers overall (12.5 million to 15.0 million) going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens.
    o The increases of +0.66 of a rating point and +2.4 million viewers overall were the night’s biggest L+3 lifts in 18-49 rating and total viewers.

    “World of Dance” (1.9/8 in 18-49, 8.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
    · Delivers the most-watched Week 3 of a new summer alternative series in nine years (best since ABC’s “Wipeout,” 10.5 million on July 8, 2008).
    · Delivers the highest Week 3 rating for a first-year summer series in five years (since CBS’ “Under the Dome,” 2.7 on July 8, 2013).
    · Dominates the time period in every key category, beating the combined ABC-CBS competition in all key measures.
    · Maintains 100% week to week in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.9) and 96% in total viewers (8.102 million vs. 8.418 million).
    · Grows +23% week to week among female millennials (1.6 vs. 1.3 in women 18-34).
    · Increases by +36% versus NBC’s average in the timeslot last summer in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.4, L+SD, non-sports) and +1.9 million persons or +31% in total viewers (8.102 million vs. 6.170 million).
    · Will grow substantially via time-shifting and VOD:
    o Last week’s “World” increased by +31% in 18-49 (1.89 to 2.48) and +1.9 million viewers overall (8.4 million to 10.3 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
    o The +31% increase is the night’s biggest L+3 lift on the Big 4 in 18-49 percentage.

    In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

    · In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” 2.4/6; “Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” 2.5/7; and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.5/4.

    · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” 0.9/5; “Late Show,” 0.5/3; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3.

    · From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC’s “Nightline” averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

    · From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” 1.4/5 in metered-market households; CBS’s “Late Late Show,” 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: “Late Night,” 0.5/4 in 18-49; “Late Late Show,” 0.2/2.

    · At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

  2. Getting use to Tyra on AGT. It is a good show which includes all talent. That and Deadliest Catch is all on Tuesday’s worth watching..
