  2. FROM ABC

ABC’s The Goldbergs is Wednesday’s #1 Show – American Housewife Pops at 8:30pm

ABC Wednesday Prime (8-11pm – 4.4 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): Although Modern Family aired a repeat in the middle of its comedy block, ABC tied CBS’ all-original lineup for #2 on Wednesday night in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4-tie) and paced just 2-tenths out of tying Fox for #1 (The X-Files/9-1-1 = 1.3/5).

    · At 8pm, ABC’s The Goldbergs won its half-hour by 30% in Adults 18-49 over runner-up CBS’ The Amazing Race (1.7/7 vs. 1.3/5) to stand as Wednesday’s #1 TV show for the first time this season, topping Fox’s 9-1-1 at 9pm (1.6/6). The Goldbergs held even with the prior week at a best-since-premiere rating in the half-hour – since 9/27/17.

    · At 8:30pm, ABC’s special airing in the half-hour of American Housewife ranked #1 in its slot with Adults 18-49 (1.4/5). The ABC comedy marked a best-since-premiere number in Total Viewers (5.3 million) and its highest rating since October with Adults 18-49 – since 9/27/17 and 10/18/17, respectively. In addition, American Housewife drew ABC’s biggest series audience to the time slot this season and equaled a season best with young adults.

  3. FROM CBS

CBS Wednesday Live + Same Day Highlights

2-HOUR “THE AMAZING RACE” WON ITS TIME SLOT IN VIEWERS

“CRIMINAL MINDS” WAS FIRST AT 10 PM IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 18-49 (tie) AND ADULTS 25-54 (tie)

    CBS WINS WEDNESDAY IN VIEWERS

    · Wednesday’s 2-hour AMAZING RACE won the 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM time period in viewers (6.14m), while delivering 1.2 in adults 18-49 and 1.6 in adults 25-54.

    · At 10:00 PM, CRIMINAL MINDS was first in viewers (5.23m), adults 18-49 (0.9, tie) and adults 25-54 (1.2, tie).

    · CBS won Wednesday in viewers (5.84m). The Network won the night by +13% over its nearest competition (versus 5.15m)

  4. The Goldbergs from a last night was a pilot called Class that ABC passed on last year. I think it did well enough that ABC will give it another look. ABC only had one new comedy this fall and that was cancelled and three comedies for midseason so I wonder why ABC passed on it initially.

  5. X Files was great last night. Darin Morgan episode! With these ratings, this probably will be Fox’s last attempt with the show.

FOX has to be happy with 9-1-1’s ratings. Much better than the Resident which they put more promotion in to

Criminal Minds is on the down low and I wonder how long CBS will keep it around. They are less forgiving about ratings than the other networks
