VH1 Greenlights ‘Satan’s Sisters’ Based on Book by Star Jones

New Drama Loosely Based on ABC's 'The View'

VH1 has ordered a one-hour scripted drama based on the 2011 book by former “The View” co-host Star Jones. Filmed in Atlanta and patterned on “The View,” “Satan’s Sisters” is the story of “The Lunch Hour” — a long-running, popular ladies’ talk show in which alliances are forged, careers are made, and bridges are burned.

Slated to debut in 2017 and a co-production from Sony Pictures Television, Jones, Josh Berman, Suzanne DePasse, Madison Jones and Susan Levison will serve as executive producers. The writers for the series are Amy Engelberg and Wendy Engelberg, who also serve as executive producer. No casting has been announced.
