Wendy Williams Passes Out on Live Television

On the Oct. 31 edition of the syndicated talk show “The Wendy Williams Show,” host Wendy Williams — dressed as the Statue of Liberty for Halloween — was in the middle of introducing the show’s next segment when she began to feel faint. Williams then fell to the floor and the stage staff quickly ran to assist her. The show then immediately went to a commercial break.

After the break, a recovered Wendy Williams told the audience, “That was not a stunt. I was overheated in my costume and I did pass out. But you know what? I’m a champ and I’m back.
