YouTube Red Announces New Comedy with Adam Pally and Sam Richardson

10 EPisodes Ordered for a Debut in 2019

YouTube Red will introduce a new comedy in 2019, currently untitled, starring Adam Pally (“Happy Endings,” “The Mindy Project”),Sam Richardson (“Veep,” “Detroiters”) and guest starring Jay Pharoah (“Saturday Night Live,” “Ride Along”), The 10-episode sitcom, which follows a crew for a rapper who try to survive without being in the limelight, will be written and executive produced by Daniel Libman, Matthew Libman, Jordan Cahan and David Caspe, who also wrote the pilot.

Jamie Tarses will also serve as series executive producer.  Maurice “Mo” Marable will direct the pilot and serve as co-executive producer. Ian Durney will serve as an associate producer. The series is a Sony Pictures Television production.
