The nation’s top team Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0, 5-0 SEC) heads into Death Valley for a match against the LSU Tigers (7-1, 4-1) (Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS). The Crimson Tide have won seven straight against the Tigers, a run that began with Alabama’s 21-0 shutout of LSU in the 2011 BCS Championship Game.
The Michigan Wolverines host the Penn State Nittany Lions (Nov. 3 at 3:45 p.m. ET on ESPN) in a matchup of ranked Big Ten teams. The Wolverines remain undefeated in Big Ten play, the only team in the conference able to make that claim. Overall, Michigan rides a seven-game winning streak into the matchup, while the Nittany Lions will be looking for a marquee conference victory, having lost two conference games by a combined five points.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish, one of four undefeated teams in the FBS, as, for the first time since 1976, the Fighting Irish travel to Evanston, Ill., to face the Northwestern Wildcats (Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN). Notre Dame has faced the Wildcats twice in Chicago since 1976, but this year’s matchup will be at Ryan Field, Northwestern’s traditional home.
