An all-SEC game on CBS (Oct. 6 at 3:30 p.m. ET) pits the No. 5 LSU Tigers against the No. 22 Florida Gators. Florida is a ranked team in the Associated Press Top 25 after winning in Week 5 to extend its victory streak to three games. Meanwhile, LSU’s quarterback Joe Burrow passed for three TDs and ran in another against Ole Miss.
ABC’s Saturday Night Football will feature undefeated No. 6 Notre Dame in its toughest road challenge to date as the Fighting Irish will match up against No. 24 Virginia Tech under the lights at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., (Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET) for the first time in the school’s storied history. The Fighting Irish have two wins against ranked teams this season, however, the Hokies will be Notre Dame’s first ranked road opponent of the season. Adding to the challenge, the matchup is the Fighting Irish’s first game in prime-time outside of South Bend, Indiana, this season.
