NFL Conference Championship Sunday Preview
The Eagles and 49ers compete for a berth in the Super Bowl during this NFC championship game (Fox, Jan. 29 @ 3:05 p.m. ET). Philadelphia blew past the New York Giants in the divisional round by a score of 38-7 to advance to the conference championship for the first time since 2017. San Francisco won its last head-to-head meeting with the Eagles by a score of 17-11 in 2021.
The Bengals and Chiefs meet in the AFC championship game. Cincinnati edged past Kansas City 27-24 in last year’s AFC final (CBS, Jan. 29 @ 6:40 p.m. ET). Patrick Mahomes (KC) suffered a high-ankle sprain in a divisional-round win versus Jacksonville. Cincinnati bested Buffalo.
