5 New TV Shows to Watch Out for in 2021

Five of the most anticipated TV shows coming to streaming services in 2021 that you won't want to miss. Some of which may end up at Microgaming casinos.

One of the best things about having so many streaming services now is that there are always new shows coming along. With Netflix promising that it will release more than one new original movie a week, and HBO Max getting a number of new movies at the same time as theaters, there has never been more choice.

These are five of the best new TV shows coming to streaming services in 2021.

1. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – Disney+ March 19th

Disney+ have been mentioning this new series for a while now. It follows on from Avengers: Endgame when Steve Rogers gave his shield to Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie. Wilson will team up with Steve’s best friend Bucky Barnes to fight all types of evil.

This is just one of a slew of new TV shows coming to Disney+ this year including Cruella, She-Hulk, and Kenobi.

2. The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Disney+ March 26th

If you loved the Disney movies of the ‘90s, then you will be thrilled to learn that the ice hockey underdogs are back. Emilio Estevez is reprising his role as coach Gordon Bombay. This series revolves around a kid that didn’t make the cut to be in the Ducks. Instead, he decides to start his own team with Bombay as the coach.

3. American Horror Story Season 10 – FX Date TBA

American Horror Story has reached its 10th season, and while the exact details of the theme for this season aren’t clear, it does involve the seaside. A lot of the regular cast is returning for the series along with an unknown role for Macauly Culkin. Previous seasons have has themes including slasher movies, a coven, and an apocalypse. The series was initially supposed to be shooting in 2020, but with the pandemic, this was pushed back to 2021.

4. Stranger Things Season 4 – Netflix Date TBA

If you have been spending your time at home catching up on your sleep or playing online slots games, then Stranger Things is another thing that can keep you occupied. The series has captured the viewer’s imagination, and with Hopper now in Russia, the crew has to figure a way to get him out. A lot has happened to the group of friends over the past three seasons, and there is a rumor that they might be entering their own version of the Cold War.

5. The Witcher Season 2 – Netflix Date TBA

After the hugely popular first season, The Witcher was always going to be renewed. Henry Cavill will return as Geralt and there is a rumor that this season will be an adaptation of the first book of the Witcher series Blood of Elves. All the main characters will be there, and despite some delays due to the virus, it seems that filming is now back underway.

Although these are the top five shows that you should be checking out, there are others that also deserve a mention.

Peaky Blinders Season 6 – Netflix

The popular BBC mob series has reached season 6 on Netflix which some think maybe the last. The big question for this season, however, is: who betrayed Tommy Shelby?

The Lord of the Rings – Amazon Prime

Amazon’s plan to bring their own version of Game of Thrones has reportedly cost a lot of money. However, if The Lord of the Rings is a success, then the cost will be justified. The series is set in the Second Age, which is before the adventures of Frodo. It will be interesting to see how this prequel will pan out.

Loki – Disney+

Another survivor of Avengers: Endgame was Thor’s brother, Loki. This spin-off series will see Loki fall in with a secretive organization known as the Time Variance Agency. With many of these shows looking to tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4, it will be interesting to see where they all lead.

Law and Order: Organized Crime

Those who were saddened when Elliot Stabler left Law and Order: Special Victims Unit will be glad to know that Christopher Meloni is reprising his role for the new series Organized Crime.

These are just a few of the many TV shows debuting or returning to streaming services. With Disney and Netflix ramping up their release of content, it will be a good 2021 for the viewers.
