NBC was, of course, the winning network in prime time for each of the prior 17 nights with the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. Even though the Olympics has concluded, NBC extended their winning streak to 18 nights among total viewers and all key demos, thanks to the combo of “American Ninja Warrior” and “Running Wild with Bear Grylls.”
In additional positive news for NBCUniversal, USA Network, also part of the NBCUniversal family, was cable’s No. 1 network in prime time among all key demos with “WWE RAW.”
