Saturday Final Nationals: ‘Summer of Dreams’ on Hallmark Tops the Day on Cable

For the second consecutive evening, “NFL Preseason” football won the night all-around for CBS. In most markets, the game featured was the Tennessee Titans vs. the Oakland Raiders, but other games (most notably, Giants-Jets in the New York market on its primary CBS affiliate) also took place.

The day’s most-watched cable telecast was the premiere of the Hallmark telemovie “Summer of Dreams” starring Deborah Gibson in a lighthearted take of her 80’s teen pop star persona wanting to regain fame in modern culture.
