The BAFTA Film Awards 2022 ceremony will finally airing soon. And it’s almost time to watch the BAFTA Film Awards 2022 live stream, honoring the past year’s best British and international movies. The BAFTAs are a major precursor to the Academy Awards and could foreshadow the Oscar winners.
The 75th British Academy Film Awards ceremony will be held Sunday, March 13th, hosted actress Rebel Wilson. The in-person event is taking place at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The full list of BAFTA Film Awards nominations were announced earlier this year, with Dune (11 nominations), Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog (eight nominations) and Sir Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast (six nominations) leading the charge.

When are the BAFTA Film Awards 2022?
The BAFTA Film Awards 2022 are set to take place in London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 13th March 2022.
BBC One will be covering the event, the first in-person BAFTA ceremony since 2020, form 7pm onwards.
How to watch BAFTA Film Awards 2021 live and on TV
The BAFTA Film Awards 2022 will air live on BBC One in the UK. There will be coverage between 7pm and 9pm and it will later be available on-demand via iPlayer. Viewers in the US and Canada can watch via Britbox. For further information about global transmission, check the BAFTA website to see where you can watch.
Viewers with a TV licence can also watch the BAFTA Film Awards 2022 through BBC iPlayer, which can be used to watch BBC One live.
Who will host the BAFTA Film Awards 2022?
Recently, it was confirmed that Rebel Wilson, the comedian and actress best known for Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect, will helm the 75th BAFTA Film Awards. She has previously presented the Best Director BAFTA award in 2020, so she’s no stranger to presenting duties!
Who are the nominees for BAFTA Rising Star Award?
James Bond actress Lashana Lynch and West Side Story’s Ariana DeBose are among the young performers nominated for BAFTA’s Rising Star Award.
Deaf actress Millicent Simmonds, who is only 18 years old, has also made the crop after starring in the horror film A Quiet Place and its 2021 sequel as Regan Abbott.
Harris Dickinson (The King’s Man, Maleficent) has also bagged a nomination alongside Australian actor Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Power of the Dog).
Smit-McPhee told Sky News he felt “sheer joy and excitement and shock” when he learned he’d bagged a nomination, saying he couldn’t put “it into words”.
Previous winners have included Bukky Bakray (Rocks), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Kristen Stewart (Twilight) and John Boyega (Star Wars).
