Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Share Emmy Victory

CREATIVE ARTS EMMY AWARD WINNERS

As a precursor to the 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards telecast next Sunday, HBO’s “Game of Thrones” won nine Creative Arts Emmy Awards, while “The People v. O.J. Simpson” on FX took home four trophies. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made history with their shared win in the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series category for “Saturday Night Live,” while Peter Scolari, a late addition to the ballot after original nominee Peter MacNicol was disqualified for appearing in more than half of the season’s worth of episodes for HBO’s “Veep,” picked up the Guest Comedy Actor trophy.

Hank Azaria and Margo Martindale won for their guest spots in drama for “Ray Donovan” and “The Americans,” respectively. The second part of the Creative Arts Emmys continue on Sunday. An edited presentation of it will on FXX on Saturday, Sept. 17.
