Friday Ratings: ‘Shark Tank’ Tops Modest Evening; ‘Charmed’ and ‘Dynasty’ on The CW Earn Their Cancellation Stripes

Minus original episodes of the CBS crime solvers in the mix, NBC topped the night in total viewers with its pairing of “The Blacklist” (Viewers: #2, 2.70 million; A18-49: #3t, 0.2 rating/2 share at 8 p.m. ET) and “Dateline” (Viewers: #1, 2.91 million; A18-49: #1t, 0.3/ 3 from 9-11 p.m.). But what can you really say when the most-watched broadcast network comes in at under 3-million viewers. Not much.

ABC’s “Shark Tank” led the night, with 3.09 million viewers and a 0.4/ 4 in the demo (#1t) at 8 p.m. Next week is the season-ending episode of “Shark Tank.” And that led into “20/20” with 2.29 million viewers (#3) and a 0.3/ 3 (#1t) in adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m. 

Elsewhere, recent CBS competition entry “Come Dance With Me” remained a bust at 2.05 million viewers (#3) and a 0.2/ 2 in adults 18-49 (#3t) at 8 p.m. Fox featured “WWE Friday Night Smackdown”, which was below average. See network tallies above. And The CW reboot dramas “Charmed” (Viewers: 280,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “Dynasty” (Viewers: 333,000; A18-49: 0.0/ 0 at 9 p.m.) earned their cancellation stripes.
