In 1963, the airwaves were flooded with news coverage of President John F. Kennedy’s funeral, which took place in Washington, D.C. with over 800,000 mourners lining the streets.

Sci-fi drama “Babylon 5” concluded its five season run in 1998. Spin-off series “Crusade” aired on TNT for one season in 1999. Si-Fi attempted to pick up the show and continue production, but was unable to find room in its budget.

The 100th episode of “Criminal Minds” aired in 1999. The long-running crime solver concluded on CBS after 15 seasons in 2020 and was revived in 2022-23 on Paramount+…Peter Jackson’s documentary series “The Beatles: Get Back” premiered on Disney+ in 2021.
