Ratings Breakdown:
Tuesday is all about NBC this summer, with the combination of “America’s Got Talent” (8.2 rating/15 share from 8-10 p.m. ET) and “World of Dance” (5.0/ 9 at 10 p.m.) beating the four competing networks combined in the household overnights. Comparably, “America’s Got Talent” increased by nine percent from the 7.5/13 on the year-ago evening, which is unprecedented for a series in season 12. And “World of Dance” was a hefty 79 percent above the 2.8/ 5 for short-lived year-ago time period occupant “Maya & Marty.”

Also original last night was ABC sitcom “Downward Dog” at a typical – and lackluster – 2.4/ 4 (#3) in the household overnights in the 8 p.m. half-hour. The rest of the evening on ABC – “The Middle” (#3: 1.5/ 3 at 8:30 p.m.), two episodes of “black-ish” (#3: avg. 1.4/ 2 from 9-10 p.m.), “American Housewife” (#3: 1.3/ 2 at 10 p.m. and “Fresh Off the Boat” (#3: 1.1/ 2 at 10:30 p.m. – were encore telecasts. This fall, “black-ish” will remain in the Tuesday 9 p.m. half-hour into new sitcom “The Mayor” (and out of relocated “Fresh off the Boat”).

The CW, meanwhile, featured an encore of “The Flash” (#5: 0.6/ 1) into an original installment of “iZombie” (#5: 0.7/ 1).

The rest of the evening was all repeats. CBS featured encores of “NCIS” (#2: 4.1/ 8), which was just named the most-watched drama series in the world, “Bull” (#2: 3.4/ 6) and “NCIS: New Orleans” (#2: 3.4/ 6). And Fox featured “Lethal Weapon” (#4: 1.2/ 2) and sitcoms “The Mick” (#4: 0.8/ 1) and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (#4: 0.7/ 1), which is the line-up this fall.
