Ratings Analysis:
It was another Tuesday household overnight sweep for NBC care of perennial summer sensation “America’s Got Talent” (7.1 rating/12 share from 8-10 p.m.) and sophomore “World of Dance” (4.4/ 8 at 10 p.m.).“America’s Got Talent,” which is destined to top the summer charts once again, was 10 percent below the 7.9/14 in the overnights on the year-ago evening. “World of Dance,” meanwhile, slipped by 21 percent from the 5.6/10 one year earlier.

Comparably, Fox’s non-scripted combination of “Beat Shazam!” (#4: 1.7/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and the revival of “Love Connection” (#4: 1.4/ 2 at 9 p.m.) could not compete.

Also original last night was CW drama “The 100,” which will return in 2018-19 in midseason, at a 0.7/ 1 (#5) at 9 p.m.; and CBS’ “48 Hours: NCIS” at a second-place 3.3/ 6 at 10 p.m. The remainder of the schedule was all repeats.
