NFL Playoffs TV Schedule for January and February 2016

THE ROAD TO SUPER BOWL 50 WILL BE TELEVISED

The National Football League announced its postseason television schedule on Sunday, January 3.

Wild Card weekend marks the kickoff to the NFL postseason on Jan. 9-10.

ESPN and ABC will simulcast the first game of these playoffs: Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans. It will be the first NFL game to air on ABC since Super Bowl XL in Jan. 2006.

The Saturday evening slot goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting their division rival Cincinnati Bengals on CBS.

NBC televises its first Sunday afternoon playoff game since 1998 with the Seattle Seahawks vs. Minnesota Vikings.

Then, at 4:40 p.m. ET, NFC East division champion Washington Redskins will be at home to face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Fox.

The home teams and their scheduled times have also been announced for the following weekend’s Divisional playoff games. CBS has the New England Patriots on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 4:35 p.m. ET and the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 4:40 p.m. NBC will have the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 8:15 p.m. Finally, Fox has the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 1:05 p.m.

The playoffs conclude with the granddaddy television event of the year, Super Bowl 50, on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. and broadcast on CBS.
