2018-19 NFL Playoffs: Divisional Round TV and Announcer Schedule

Opening NFL Divisional Playoff weekend on Jan. 12, the Indianapolis Colts will go into one of the toughest places to play in the NFL, Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, to try and knock off the No. 1-seeded Chiefs, one of the most prolific offenses this season led by their starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes who threw for 5,097 yards, 50 touchdowns (just the third such season in NFL history) and 12 interceptions. But the Colts have also been proficient in scoring, averaging 28 points per game since Week 7 and propelling them to win 9 of their last 10 games in the regular season and a Wild Card victory in Houston. And in the four prior playoff meetings between these two teams in NFL history, the Colts had been victorious in them all.

It will be NFC East winner Dallas Cowboys versus NFC West winner Los Angeles Rams. It’s their first meeting since a Rams 35-30 victory over the Cowboys on Oct. 1, 2017. From 1973 thru 1986, these two teams met in the playoffs eight times.

The Chargers recently made Los Angeles their home but they’ll still have to overcome their daunted San Diego past as they head into Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on Jan. 13 to face the New England Patriots, a team that defeated the Chargers in two consecutive playoff years in 2007 and 2008. Both those years featured longstanding (and still current) Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers, who earned his best regular season completion percentage (68.3 percent) in 5 years along with 32 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Meanwhile, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will begin his playoff trek to a ninth Super Bowl appearance. New England has not lost a single game, regular season or postseason, in Foxboro since Oct. 1, 2017 while the Los Angeles Chargers are 9-1 on the road this season, with the only defeat coming within city limits in a 12-point loss to the Rams. In that span, they’ve beaten the Seahawks, Steelers, Chiefs, Titans, and on Wild Card weekend, the Ravens.

The defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, having escaped Wild Card weekend with a 16-15 win in Chicago, look to avenge a 48-7 Week 11 loss to the NFC’s No. 1 seed, New Orleans Saints. This season, 39-year-old Saints quarterback Drew Brees averaged the best pass completion percentage of his career (74.4 percent) and career-best in least interceptions (5).
