Sunday Overnights: CBS Sweeps Each Half-Hour in Households

Ratings Breakdown:
Led by granddaddy “60 Minutes” (#1 for the night: 6.8 rating/12 share at 7 p.m.), CBS topped this second April Sunday in the household overnights. The network finished first in each of the six half-hours in households as a result of aforementioned “60 Minutes,” “God Friended Me” (4.9/ 8 at 8 p.m.), “NCIS: Los Angeles” (4.8/ 8 at 9 p.m.) and “Madam Secretary” (3.7/ 7 at 10 p.m.).

In the 8-10 p.m. battle of ABC’s “American Idol” (4.6/ 7) versus “World of Dance” on NBC (2.5/ 4), it was no contest with “Idol” holding a considerable 84 percent household advantage.

Second in the Sunday 10 p.m. hour was ABC’s “Shark Tank” at a typically modest 2.6/ 5, which was still 44 percent above NBC’s recently renewed “Good Girls” (#3: 1.8. 3). The third season pick-up for “Good Girls” is a result of the interest on Netflix.
