What is the Mexico ETA?
Russian citizens who arrive by plane at one of the Mexican airports in 2021 for a single entry to Mexico for a period of no more than 180 days can apply for an electronic permit online – ETA.
Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is an electronic travel permit for short–term visits to Mexico, for Russian citizens. It is issued in advance and independently by the tourist online through Natvisa.com.
Note. ETA is only suitable for air travel. To cross the border of Mexico by land or water transport, as well as to enter the country multiple times and stay there for more than 6 months, you need to apply for a regular visa at the embassy of this country.
We recommend that you start applying for an electronic permit 25 days before your trip to Mexico. It is valid for 30 days from the moment of approval and receipt. According to the ETA, you can stay in Mexico for up to 180 days. The final decision is made when crossing the border. Steps to Apply for Mexico ETA Online
