Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Headline Comedy Film ‘Beth and Don’

Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be featured in upcoming movie “Beth and Don” as a New York novelist, Beth, that has a seemingly happy marriage to her husband Don. One day she overhears her husband saying he hasn’t liked her writing in years; which threatens to undo her entire marriage.

The film comes from Louis-Dreyfus and Nicole Holofcener, who previously teamed on 2013 theatrical “Enough Said”, which featured Dreyfus and the late James Gandolfini. Louis-Dreyfus will produce, as well as star in the picture, with Holofcener writing the script in addition to directing it. Production on the upcoming film is expected to begin in early spring 2022 in New York City.

“Beth and Don” will be produced by Louis-Dreyfus along with Likely Story’s Anthony Bregman and Stefanie Azpiazu. FilmNation Entertainment will be handling the film’s international sales at the upcoming American Film Market.
