ABC will introduce six new series (dramas “The Crossing,” “Deception,” “For the People” and the untitled “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off; and comedies “Alex. Inc.” and “Splitting Up Together;” plus the revivals of “American Idol” and “Roseanne” in midseason. Drama “Quantico” will also be returning for a new season, and the changes will impact four nights of the week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off joins the TGIT lineup with a special two-hour premiere on Thursday, March 22 at 9 p.m. ET before assuming its regular Thursday 9 p.m. hour. The final four episodes of “Scandal” will air at 10 p.m., Thursdays, beginning March 29. The series finale is slated for April 19.
As previously announced, “Roseanne” kicks off with a one-hour premiere on Tuesday, March 27 from 8-9 p.m. Its regular timeslot will be Tuesdays at 8 p.m. beginning April 3 (followed by relocated “The Middle”).
The season finale episodes of “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Speechless” will air March 20 and March 21, respectively.
