ABC to Launch Four New Short-Form Series

New Quartet of Digital Series Available This Friday

ABCd, the digital extension of ABC, is introducing four new digital series this Friday for the free ABC apps for web, mobile and connected TV devices. They are comedy “This Isn’t Working” from YouTube star Lisa Schwartz; “Farm to Plate,” featuring Australian chef Guy Turland; “She Talks,” a docuseries that profiles female entrepreneurs; and “What to Text Him Back,” featuring relationship expert and best-selling author Matthew Hussey as he breaks down dating protocol in the digital age.

Additionally, ABCd will debut interview series “A Little of Your Time with Quinn Marcus” on Thursday, Sept. 15 in conjunction with Marcus’ role as the official social-media correspondent for the 2016 Primetime Emmys. Marcus is known for MTV’s “Girl Code” and MTVu’s “Quinnterviews.” The network relaunched its free streaming service, along with seven new short-form series, in July. For more specifics, click here

Here are the official new series descriptions:

“FARM TO PLATE”
Aussie chef Guy Turland explores the foraging phenomenon, trekking through land and sea to pick the freshest local ingredients from the most interesting places. Guided by people who truly understand the ingredients and prepared in the great outdoors, Turland discovers what it truly means to eat well and be happy.

“SHE TALKS”

Here’s what it takes to be successful: be smart, work hard and above all be fearless. Real-life women entrepreneurs share the sacrifices and triumphs of striking out on their own.

“THIS ISN’T WORKING”

Determined to make it in Hollywood, Sarah (Lisa Schwartz) bides her time between auditions by taking humiliating, soul-crushing temp jobs in order to scrape together enough money for rent and the occasional two-dollar bottles of wine.

“WHAT TO TEXT HIM BACK”
Relationship expert Matthew Hussey breaks down dating in the digital age. From inappropriate sexts or just the simple, yet often confounding, ones like “hey,” viewers will never be lost in “textlation” again.
