    TNT’s Warriors/Thunder Game 7 averaged an 11.2 HH MM rating, cable’s highest rated NBA game telecast of all time based on overnights

    TNT’s Warriors/Thunder telecast on Monday was the highest rated sporting event of Memorial Day weekend on television.

    GSW/OKC averaged 30.9 HH rtg in SF, TNT’s highest rated NBA game ever in that market. Other top markets: OKC (30.0), CLE (20.7) & SAC (19.2)

    • Thanks for posting those numbers, do you think this game cleared 17-18 million viewers? I think the highest number I’ve ever seen for an NBA game on cable was the 16+ million that the Bulls/Heat 2011 ECF games got.

      These NBA Finals are going to be huge this year I think a game 6 or 7 if it happens can easily clear 30 million viewers.

      • The highest the Bulls/Heat reached in 2011 was 11.11 million for Game 1 of that series.

        Last night’s game will break the previous record of 13.346 million of ESPN’s Celtics/Heat Game 7 from June 9, 2012.

  2. Looks like game 7 of the Western Conference Finals on TNT pulled everything down on the broadcasters. Nice start for the Stanley Cup Finals though considering they have a west coast team in this series as I’m sure a Penguins vs. Blackhawks series would’ve gotten some epic numbers this summer.
