Academy Award Nominations: ‘Mank’ on Netflix Leads the Pack With 10 Nods

Netflix feature “Mank”, the black and white drama about screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz’s development of the screenplay for the legendary film “Citizen Kane,” led among the nominated films with 10 nods. Following behind with six nominations apiece are “The Father,” “Judas and the Black Messiah,” “Minari,” “Nomadland,” “Sound of Metal” and “The Trial of the Chicago 7.” Emerald Fennell’s “Promising Young Woman” received five nods.
